As a member of the Michigan Nursing Students Association (MNSA), you have the opportunity to shape the future of nursing. Join us at our Annual Convention on October 18, 2024. This meeting is open to all nursing & pre-nursing students, we encourage all MNSA members to attend. We will be discussing important topics such as bylaw changes and voting on open board member positions. Your presence is crucial to meet quorum and make these decisions. Stay tuned for more details on an action-packed day full of AMAZING speakers & presenters! This year will include several breakout sessions, a LIVE NCLEX Review, and a panel interview for you to get up close & personal with new grad nurses, professional associations, and amazing nurses across the field!


What to Expect at the Annual Convention


2024 CONVENTION SPEAKER LINEUP

Some of this year’s speakers include our keynote presentation by Commander Kathryn Spruit-McGoff from the USPHS Commissioned Corps, Dr. Rhonda Lawes with Lecturio (mini NCLEX review & endnote speaker) and breakout sessions with nurses from Michigan Medicine’s Survival Flight, ANA-MI & MNA along with 2-3 RN’s will give us an exciting round-robin session with the pros & cons of the NLC! Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Carter Doyle, MSN, PMHNP, CCISM, EMT-P will present a “Code Lavender” and a Panel Discussion with new nurse grads and experienced nurses with a variety of backgrounds including former East Lansing Mayor Diane Goddeeris, BSN, RN specializing in OB!
